About Us

The Who What Where Why When and How
Stand out

Honeypitch was created by Thunk, Inc. to address the problems that existed with the current proposal system which consisted of MS Word documents for contract appendixes, a PDF contract, Powerpoints, email threads and Fedex deliveries.

We also were creating microsites that would include various Flash, video, and rich-media files created specifically for the prospect or client. Each proposal became more and more cumbersome to produce when things got busy so we researched tools that could help us out. We looked far and wide and nothing looked promising so we made an internal system and then showed it around. This prototype evolved into the Honeypitch product you see now and it has been refined to address the wider scope needs for multiple industries.

Did we create a product that can help out our competition? Yes we did. We also hope that our peers and colleagues help us enhance the product so they can have greater success. Thunk is in the idea development business. Innovation is our core passion and we wanted to create a product that could help communicate creative ideas effectively and with passion.

The Ecosystem

Honeypitch was built out of necessity. We were building microsites that would look a lot like Honeypitch but we had no way of tracking the usage per user. We were using SugarCRM (after Salesforce), Basecamp, and InDesign to generate PDF proposals and contracts. Plus our accounting system is Freshbooks now that we found a smarter solution than Quickbooks online.

We looked at AppExchange and Salesforce but decided we could build a cleaner, simpler solution that would cost a lot less and be a viable solution for small businesses.

Honeypitch can be used as a replacement to a contact management system or CRM. It can also be used when the hot leads from the CRM or email need to get a dynamic proposal delivered immediately and with impact.
